Infrastructure Transitions Research Consortium Conference – Showcasing and sharing thinking on infrastructure

Mon, 2012-12-10

Judith Britnell gave a presentation of the work of the Retrofit 2050 programme at the Infrastructure Transitions Research Consortium (ITRC) Early Career Researcher (ERC) conference held at Clare College, Cambridge in November 2012. The ITRC programme is developing simulation models and tools to inform the analysis, planning and design of national infrastructure.

The aim of the conference was for researchers involved in infrastructure research to showcase and share innovative thinking on future challenges and opportunities. The conference was well attended and Judith’s presentation focused on the Retrofit 2050 energy, water and waste roadmaps, which have been developed to inform the scenario building process, and identifying emerging and disruptive technologies for the future. All presentations from the conference can be viewed on the ITRC website: http://www.itrc.org.uk/events/2012-events/early-career-researcher-conference/
